Exploring Ormoc City
We had a trip around Ormoc City with Ma’am Violeta, Sir Isaiah, Ma’am Mair, and Sir Joseph, and honestly the whole day was really fun.
The day started with meeting the Vice Mayor of Ormoc. At first, everyone was trying to act calm because it felt formal, but after a while the atmosphere became more relaxed. We listened to explanations, introduced ourselves, and took pictures together after the meeting. After that, we continued the city tour around Ormoc. While going around the city, everyone inside the vehicle was already busy talking, joking around, taking random pictures, and reacting to things we saw outside.
Then we went to Alto Peak to eat together. The place was really nice, so before eating everyone immediately took pictures first. During lunch, the owner of the restaurant told us about Philippines History. They have a lot of books and historical things.
After eating at Alto Peak, we visited the mobile library, and honestly this was the best part of the whole trip. The moment we arrived, the kids immediately came to us and started talking nonstop. They asked so many questions like our names, where we came from, our ages, hobbies, some Indonesian words, and even random things.
Some kids were really confident and energetic. Some were funny and liked joking around. Others were shy at first, but after a few minutes they became talkative too.
We spent a long time talking with them because they were really fun to interact with. The place became super noisy because everyone was talking and laughing at the same time.We also took many pictures together with the kids. Some of them even kept following us around because they still wanted to talk more. They told us about their hobbies, their pets, and their school friends.
After that, we went to the pineapple farm. Everyone immediately got excited because there were pineapples everywhere, so of course we took more pictures there too.
Before leaving, we were given pineapples to bring home, and everyone became really happy because we did not expect it at all.
Overall, the whole Ormoc trip was really enjoyable. From meeting the Vice Mayor, doing the city tour, eating together at Alto Peak, talking with the kids at the mobile library, until visiting the pineapple farm, the whole day was full of fun moments.
